Privacy Policy

We collect the information you provide when you create an account (via Google or Apple sign-in), the coarse location you choose to share while browsing or broadcasting, wallet and transaction records, and technical data such as device type and app diagnostics.

Locations shown on the map are deliberately coarsened to approximately 1 km buckets for anyone who is not the broadcaster themselves. We never expose your exact address to other users. You control when you go live and what you show.

We use your data to operate the map-based discovery experience, process pay-per-minute viewing, tips, and bounty escrow, keep wallets accurate, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve safety and reliability.

Coin purchases are handled through Apple and Google in-app purchases. MapCaster payouts are processed via our payment partner (Stripe). We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

MapCast is building toward an AI-responsible platform including content safety, face-blur, privacy zones, and geofencing. These systems process content to keep the platform safe and to enforce our zero-tolerance policy on prohibited content.

You can clear your watch history, wipe your saved location, sign out, or permanently delete your account and associated data directly from your profile. For any request, contact us at support@mapcast.cc.
