Terms of Service

MapCast lets broadcasters ("MapCasters") go live from real locations and lets viewers discover, watch, tip, and request live streams via bounties. Features are provided on an evolving basis as we move through preview toward public launch.

You must sign in with Google or Apple to broadcast, tip, or post bounties. You are responsible for activity on your account and for complying with local laws when broadcasting.

Coins are an internal currency purchased through in-app purchases. Viewers pay per minute, may tip, and may fund bounties held in escrow. MapCasters may cash out earnings subject to minimum thresholds and verification. Coins have no cash value outside the platform except through supported payout methods.

You agree not to broadcast or request illegal content, 18+ content (never permitted), harassment, or content that endangers others. We may remove content, suspend accounts, and cooperate with authorities to keep the platform safe.

You retain rights to content you create, and grant MapCast a license to transmit and display it as part of the service. We operate reporting tools and automated safety systems, and idle streams are ended automatically to protect the platform.

The service is provided "as is" during preview. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MapCast is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the platform.
